Lech Poznan lost against Slavia Prague 1:3. Dawid Kownacki scored the one goal for the team from Poznan.
Slavia Prague took the lead as early as in the 3rd minute. Lech's footballers made an error in playmaking and Milan Skoda was the one who exploited the mistake and converted it into a goal thanks to a long, precise pass from one of his teammates. The Czech team did not settle after scoring a goal and Lech found themselves under pressure. 5 minutes later Slavia could have scored again, but Husbauer's shot did not fall into the back of the net.
Lech's players had goal-scoring opportunities too. In the 22nd minute Pawlowski finished his good individual run with a badly-timed pass. Shortly afterwards the Polish players recovered the ball in the midfield, but Linetty, although left one-against-one with the goalkeeper, failed to bring an equalizer.
However, it did not take long for Slavia to regain control over the match. In the 33rd minute Stohanzl sent a good cross from the right flank into the penalty area and Zelenik came close to scoring. A few minutes later Zmrhal caused problems to Buric. Finally, in the 40th minute Lech conceded the second goal. Hausbauer finished his individual run with a precise shot right next to the right post and into the net.
The team from Poznan seemed to begin the second half with more determination. In the 48th minute Pawlowski built a good offensive action that he ended with a pass behind the defenders' backs and to Kownacki who redirected it into the back of the net. Slavia tried to reply with a goal too, however neither Boril's shot from outside the penalty area, nor his second attempt following Pawlowski's mistake were good enough to beat Buric.
Nonetheless, the Czechs succeeded eventually and the score changed again. Vukadinovic rushed into the penalty area, left Kadar behind and was fouled by Kaminski. Kania converted the penalty kick into a goal. Buric chose the right corner, but he was helpless as the ball rolled into the net.
Uhrina's team seemed unstoppable that day and in 77th minute the Czechs got themselves another goal-scoring opportunity, but Tralka intervened right in time. On the other end of the pitch Linetty, Pawlowski and Kownacki tried scoring another goal for Lech, but they were unsuccessful too.
