In the last sparing match played in Spain Lech Poznan drew with FC Krasnodar 1:1. Darko Jevtic got the goal for the team from Poznan, while Ari equalized shortly before halftime.
The game was played at high tempo since the opening minutes. Shortly after the first whistle Lovrencsics sent a ball into the penalty area and Kownacki came close to scoring. On the other side of the pitch Krasnodar's players created goal-scoring opportunities too. Odil Ahmedov was left unmarked near Lech's goal and if it wasn't for his inaccuracy, he might have scored.
Lech's defenders found Ari quite problematic. In the 16th minute the Brazilian player sent a one-touch pass to Mamaev who was entering the penalty area, but fortunately for Lech Wilusz cleared the threat. In the 21st minute it was Lech that finally converted its goal-scoring opportunities into a goal. Darko Jevtic was the one who received the ball at the corner of the penalty area and sent a good, accurate shot by the further post.
Shortly afterwards Kebba Ceesay was forced to intervene when Kaleshin attempted to place the ball in the net from outside the penalty area. In the 36th minute Ari came one-against-one with the goalkeeper and although the Brazilian sent the ball past Buric, Wilusz was in the right place at the right time and stopped the ball before it rolled into the net. Nonetheless, 5 minutes later the score changed in favor of Krasnodar. Mamaev passed to unmarked Ari and the latter placed the ball in an empty goal.
However, the scorer became the main focus only few minutes after. The Brazilian lost a direct fight for the ball against Dudka, pushed the opponent away and hit him. The referee had no choice but to show a red card. Nonetheless, coach Urban agreed for Krasnodar to play in 10 men and Ari was replaced by another player after the break.
After halftime the Russians attacked more intensively. Gazinskii had a chance to head the ball into the net, but his shot turned out to be easy to stop by Buric. Lech had to wait for its own chance to score for another 10 minutes. Kadar sent a great long ball that was intercepted by Kownacki. The young forward redirected the ball towards the goal with a massive shot, but it flew above the crossbar.
Wilusz was performing extraordinarily that day and stopped the Russians from scoring on many occasions. Podberezkin and Bystrov had their goal-scoring opportunities, but in both cases they were blocked by Lech's defender. Buric did not make errors either, even though he didn't have much chances to intervene.
Kownacki could have scored for Lech in the 72nd minute when he blocked Granqvist's long pass and was left alone against the goalkeeper. However, the attempt to lob the goalkeeper was unsuccessful since it was slightly inaccurate.
Shortly before the final whistle Wanderson could have determined the final score of the match when he surprised Buric with an intuitive shot, but luckily for Lech, the goalkeeper managed to stop the ball. On the other side of the pitch Dudka tried a similar thing, but his attempt wasn't on target and thus the match ended in a fair draw.
