In the second sparing game in Belek, Lech Poznan won with Eskisehirspor 1:0. Kasper Hamalainen scored the only goal of the match.
Lech made a better impression than their rivals since the beginning of the game. The team from Poznan was in possession of the ball most of the time, as they created offensive actions. However, the Polish players lacked precision and their first shot didn't come until the 25th minute - that's when Gergo Lovrencsics rushed into the penalty area. Nonetheless his shot was too weak to cause any trouble to the goalkeeper.
4 minutes later Eskisehirspor's goalkeeper had no chance. Darko Jevtic recovered the ball in the midfield, dribbled past two players and sent a pass to Hamalainen. The latter took a shot from about 18 meters and the ball landed in the net.
However, the Finnish player was forced to leave the pitch before halftime due to the pain of the groin. Jakub Serafin replaced him. It's still unsure whether and if, how long, Kasper will be forced out of the game.
Unlike in the first sparing game with Ordabasy, this time the training staff did not divide the squad into two lineups. The coach made only three changes at halftime and he kept on replacing players as the game went on. Lech remained dominated the game and both Keita and Lovrencsics could have changed the result.
It wasn't until the last quarter of the game that the Turkish players started causing trouble to the team from Poznan. In the 80th minute Eskisehirspor had their first accurate shot which could have been an equalizer if it wasn't for Gostomski's great intervention. The goalkeeper stopped Gurala twice. The ball did find its way into the net eventually, when Gurala hit the post with a header and his teammate Yildrim placed an accurate shot, however the referee raised the flag, signalizing a correct offside. Keita could have made it 2:0 in the injury time, but Vural's intervention were as succesful as the ones of the Polish goalkeeper and the result remained unchanged.
