In the last sparing game ahead of the spring round Lech Poznań won with the first league Dolcan Ząbki 3:2.
The beginning of the game surprisingly belonged to the players from Ząbki. In the 2nd minute Hubert Wołąkiewicz was forced to faul Bartosz Wiśniewski who was sprinting towards Lechs goal. The free kick caused trouble to Kotorowski but his intervention saved the team from losing a goal early on.
As the game passed on the players from Poznań took control. In the 8th minute a controversial situation took place when Dolcans goalkeeper touched the ball with his hand outside the penalty area. The referee had no doubt showing a red card, however, after numerous discussions Leszczyński remained on the pitch. The free kick taken by Barry Douglas was too light to cause any trouble to the goalkeeper.
In the 16th minute Lech scored their first goal. Linetty won the ball back, delivered it to Hamalainen whos great long ball found Gergo. The Hungarian winger had no trouble placing the ball in the net. 2 minutes later it was already 2:0 when the ball sent into the penalty area by Douglas in the mess of legs somehow found Trałka and the midfielder placed it in the goal.
Despite the clear domination of the players from Poznań, Dolcan manager to cause trouble to their opponents. As a result of a misunderstanding in the midfield, Wiśniewski took the ball, sent it to Zjawiński and the latter being one-on-one with the goalkeeper easily placed it in the net.
Lech Poznań replied instantly. In the 31st minute Tomasz Kędziora raced down the wing and his cross was precise enough for Daylon Claasen to send the ball in the goal with a header.
In the second half coach Mariusz Rumak decided to replace the whole squad. The substitutions had a big impact on the number of chances created by Lech. Once in a while the duo Zjawiński-Piesio caused trouble to Gostmoski. In the 60th minute Zjawiński had a great opportunity but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper. In the second 45 minutes Lechs dead balls were the biggest threat to Dolcan. In the 72nd minute Paulus Arajuuri was close to scoring after a corner kick but his header went above the bar.
In the 83rd minute the players of Lech had three opportunities to score. Kownacki sent a great ball to Łukasz Teodorczyk who was close to passing the goalkeeper. Kolejorz had another chance soon after but Teo didnt notice unmarked Mateusz Możdżeń and he was stopped by the defender.
Dolcans tactics were based on counter attacks and they succeded in the last minutes of the game. Dariusz Zjawiński was the one to finish the action, making it 2:3. The result did not change and Lech Poznań ended their pre-round preparations with a solid win.
