Lech Poznan - Atlantas Klaipeda 2:0

Lech has already played its first sparing of the pre-season. The team from Poznan faced Atlantas Klaipeda and won with the Lithuanians 2:0, following the goals of David Holman and Marcin Kaminski.

The first half was dominated by the team from Poznan. Already in the 5th minute David Holman could have scored a goal, however his shot past the lone goalkeeper was inaccurate. A moment later the guests were the ones to attack for the first and last time during the first 45 minutes. It was Maksim Maksimow that attempted to surprise Gostomski with a shot from the 20th meter, however it was imprecise. Lech's next offensive action brought a goal to the team from Poznan. Pawlowski sent a long ball to Holman and the latter has no problems placing it in the net. In the 25th minute Douglas tried shooting from outside the penalty area, but his shot was slightly inaccurate and went past the post. After 2 minutes it was already 2:0. This time Douglas sent a center into the penalty area and Kaminski was the one to head it in the direction of the goal. Although the ball did not fall into the back of the net, it did cross the goal line.

In the second half there was no longer one team dominating the play. Kotorowski came in for Gostomski, while Bednarek and Wilusz replaced Douglas and Tetteh. This tactical maneuver pushed Kaminski to the left side of the defense and Dudka into the midfield. After 5 minutes the Lithuanian team scored a goal, however the shot was disallowed due to an offside and the result remained the same. In the 54th minute Holman shone in the offensive once again, however his center from the corner of the penalty area was stopped by Atlantas' defenders. Drewniak had a chance of his own too, but his shot from the 18th meter missed the goal by a few centimeters. In the 65th minute Formella could have scored the third goal, but his shot was too strong. The result remained unchanged until the very last whistle and Lech won the first sparing of the pre-season.
