Lech drew with Wisła Płock 2:2 in the 2nd round of PKO Ekstraklasa. Ishak and Kamiński scored goals for the team from Poznań.
Just like everyone predicted, Lech dominated the game since the first whistle. The hosts were in control of the match, however, to everyone’s surprise, it was Wisła Płock that scored in the 16th minute. Šatka’s accidental handball in the box was spotted by the referee and the guests were awarded a penalty kick that Szwoch effortlessly converted into a goal with a strong shot right into the middle of the net.
Lech’s determined offensive attempts didn’t bring effects until the second half. Tiba impressed everyone with a great individual run – the Portuguese dribbled past three defenders and passed the ball to Ishak who beat the keeper with a flat but precise shot. 10 minutes later, the hosts took the lead. Moder’s very precise long ball reached the penalty area and Kamiński lobbed the keeper with a beautiful header.
Just when it seemed that Lech would add three points to their league account, Wisła Płock surprised once again. Gumny’s foul in the box resulted in another penalty kick for the guests and this time it was substitute player Tuszyński who converted it into an equalizer.
