Kvekve to miss next match
Two Lech Poznań players – Nika Kvekveskiri and Bartosz Salamon – received yellow cards in the Sunday league clash with Raków Częstochowa (0:1). For the Georgian midfielder, the yellow card means an absence in the upcoming match – an away game against Wisła Cracow (March 13th, 5:30 pm).
As a result of the recent match, Kvekveskiri has a total of 4 yellow cards on his account which means that he will have to miss the upcoming league clash with Wisła Cracow. The Georgian midfielder has previously received cards in the games with Pogoń Szczecin (two yellow cards) and Górnik Zabrze. On Sunday, in the 88th minute, Kvekveskiri made a tactical foul on one of Raków’s players and received a warning from referee Damian Sylwestrzak.
Jesper Karlström, Mikael Ishak, and Bartosz Salamon all have three yellow cards on their account, hence if they receive a warning in the upcoming league game, they will miss the following match.
