Lech Poznań still lacks a win in the opening phase of the league season. In the 4th round of Lotto Ekstraklasa the team from Poznań lost against Korona Kielce 1:4. Lech played most of the match in 10 men after Tetteh received a red card.
The match kept the fans awake from the opening minutes. Before the game truly began, Korona already got themselves put in a great position. In the 6th minute Tetteh was forced to leave the pitch after receiving a red card for stopping Korona's counterattack unacceptable manner and since then Lech played in 10 men. Nevertheless, Lech's aim did not change and in the 15th minute the players from Poznań proved that they travelled all the way to Kielce to collect three important points.
Radosław Majewski decided to fire a shot from outside the penalty area, but Korona's defense line blcoked the ball. Robak was in the right place at the right time and he redirected the ball next to the goalkeeper and into the net. Lech's joy lasted short since 5 minutes later the hosts equalizer.
Kędziora fouled Kallaste in the penalty area and the referee awarded a penalty kick without a hint of hesitation. Sekulski converted the chance into a goal. In the 24th minute Korona came close to scoring another goal, but this time Burić did not let the ball pass him by.
The second half began really badly for the team from Poznań. It didn't take long for Korona to score another goal. This time Sekulski converted a great cross from Kiełb into a great header that flew above Burić. Meanwhile, on the other end of the pitch Robak received a good pass from Majewski, but the former's shot missed the goal by centimeters.
Formella brought a lot of fresh energy to the team. Lech was determined to equalize, and therefore pushed Korona deeper into the defensive zone. Nonetheless, the hosts seemed to have much better goal-scoring opportunities. For instance, Możdżeń's shot from outside the penalty area hit the post.
In the 69th minute Korona placed the ball in the net again. This time it was Palanca's genius that changed the score. The Spaniard needed a little space only to fire a great technical shot that left Burić helpless. And it wasn't yet the end. 10 minutes later the hosts were awarded with a corner kick. Aankour sent a cross precisely on Grzelak's head and the latter scored the 4th and last goal for Korona, setting the final score to 4:1. Lech finished the match playing in 9 men after Formella suffered a head injury.
