On Saturday Lech will face a tough opponent. Slask Wroclaw hasn't won a single time in the spring round until last Saturday, with a series of 10 games without collecting 3 points. However, when the team from Wroclaw got back up, they beat Lechia Gdansk 3:0.
"The last match mobilized them [Slask], however we play at home, in front of our supporters and we should be the ones that dictate the conditions. We have analyzed the opponent well, we know their weaknesses and we want to use them," said coach Skorza. "We still have a chance to begin the play-offs as the leaders. That is why this will be the crucial game. We want to win it and keep our chances of becoming the leaders."
Coach Skorza emphasizes that despite Slask losing Sebastian Mila, it's still a strong team with many assets. "You cannot hide the fact that without Sebastian Mila Slask is a totally different team. However, it's worth remembering that even though they lost their key player, it's still a tough opponent which aspires to play on the international arena. If the division of points would take place now, the team from Wroclaw would only have 4 points less than the leader. Therefore, in the fight for the championship everything is still possible," said Skorza. "Coach Pawlowski has multiple solid players in his squad. For sure they will want to use their assets in the offensive and they have a lot of them. That is why the match might be interesting."
