The October international break is slowly coming to an end. Lech’s players will resume their league efforts on Saturday (8:00 pm) with a home game against ŁKS Łódź. John van den Brom and his squad have an intense period ahead of them – until mid-November, the players from Poznań will also play an extra match in the middle of the week.
On Tuesday, Lech’s squad will begin a standard pre-match training micro cycle ahead of the weekend match. The coaching staff has scheduled two sessions for Wednesday, whereas on all other days, the team will have a single practice only. However, the following two weeks will look different as Lech’s match schedule intensifies.
On Tuesday (October 24th), John van den Brom and his players will face Jagiellonia Białystok in a postponed league game. A week later (October 31st), Lech will have another mid-week match, this time a round of 16 Polish Cup clash with Zawisza Bydgoszcz. The team from Poznań is going to face the third-division opponent in Bydgoszcz. Since the two cities aren’t too far away, the coaching staff decided that the players would travel to Bydgoszcz on the day of the match.
In the meantime, on the weekends, Lech will play their league games as scheduled. First, they will play against Cracovia in an away game, and then John van den Brom’s squad will face Ruch Chorzów at home before travelling to Warsaw to compete against Legia. In total, the team from Poznań has 6 matches scheduled before the players leave for another international break in November.
