Lech has reinforced their squad with another signing. The Bosnian winger Dino Hotić signed a three-year contract with Lech.
Hotić arrived in Poznań on Tuesday morning and had been undergoing medical tests until Wednesday afternoon. After receiving a green light from the medical staff, the winger travelled to Lech’s Research & Development Centre and signed a three-year contract with the club from Poznań before joining his new teammates for the afternoon training session.
“Another winger ready to fight for a spot in the starting line-up is joining us. He is a player with an excellent left foot, great at set pieces, and very good in small spaces. Dino fits our playing style perfectly,” explained Lech’s Sporting Director, Tomasz Rząsa.
Hotić has plenty of trophies in his account. Together with NK Maribor, he won 5 championship titles, as well as the national cup. The winger also had the opportunity to play in the Champions League (against Sevilla FC, Liverpool, and Spartak Moscow). The 27-year-old spent nearly 10 years at Maribor before joining Cercle Brugge. His acclimatization in the Belgian league went smoothly and he finished the 2021/2022 season with 7 goals and 11 assists. In the recent campaign, he even scored a hat trick against KAA Gent.
“My strengths include a good left foot and field overview. I give my all on the pitch. I know that Lech is a big club. I am very happy to be able to join it and I want to help the team win all possible trophies,” said Dino Hotić.
Despite being born in Ljubljana, the winger represents Bosnia & Herzegovina in the international arena. He already has 4 caps. The last time that the 27-year-old competed for his national team was back in June 2022, in a Nations League match against Montenegro.
