Maciej Skorza was buried in questions on the pre-match conference before the final of the Polish Super Cup. What did the coach have to say ahead of the match with Legia Warsaw?

Recent signings

It's hard to give an opinion on players that we have just signed. Only around November will we be able to give a good analysis, having already formed a specific image of their play. Until now I have been satisfied with the new players' work. Marcin Robak and Darek Dudka adapted to the team really well and they are already used to Lech's play. Denis and Abdul will need a little more time. Everything that is currently going on, especially the atmosphere in the dressing room and the players' form, allows one to be optimistic.

The players' pre-season form

The Super Cup and the Champions League qualifications are two different stories. Nonetheless, I am excited about tomorrow's match. Many of our players are only in good form when they play regularly. It can be said that we have had our worst moment after the groupings of the National Teams when the form had to be worked on hard from the very start.

Absences

Neither Arajuuri nor Lovrencsics will appear in the upcoming games. The progress in rehabilitation is what defines the date of their return. Nonetheless, I expect Paulus to be ready by the end of the month. Unfortunately, Gergo's return will take a few days more.

Berg's comment

The team from Warsaw was in a difficult situation. However, Legia's bitterness and annoyance is understandable. We do not build any ideology on the base of this situation. I always repeat to my team that we have to focus on ourselves. Now all the teams we are going to face will be twice as motivated because they are playing against the Polish Champion. We cannot rest on our laurels and breathe with the championship.

Super Cup

The two best team in Poland face each other in the Super Cup. I hope that none of the people who decide to watch the game will be left disappointed. Full commitment is the key point in this match. We want to play for our fans and deliver them even more joy.

I want my team to be able to switch the system of play, even if it is in the middle of a match. We are to be a creative team, thoughtful when playing, and therefore such a change should not be a problem. Our task is to surprise the rival each and every time.

Darko Jevtic

Darko is an important player for me. Unfortunately, he hasn't had much luck. Before the start of the season he underwent a treatment, and therefore he started preparing for the season later than others. The Serbian player is not yet ready. I count on him and I know that he still needs a couple of training sessions to get back to form.

Sparing match with Stomil

The Saturday game is meant for those player that won't play against Legia. The footballers that play less need to be in match form anyways. Whenever there are matches to play every three days, rotation in the squad is unavoidable and that is why we need a broad team made up of players that are in optimal form.
