Lech Poznan supported the runners who participated in the 12th edition of PKO Poznan Half Marathon. The club designed a unique fan zone which left the runners covered in blue and white colors.
The fan zone was located nearby the stadium, on the corner of Jugoslowianska and Grunwaldzka street at the 7th kilometer of the half marathon. All the participants ran underneath a gate which displayed the club’s logo, and then those who wanted to could enjoy an additional attraction prepared specially for this edition of the half marathon.
A short part of the route was designated for coloring the runners with a powder. The passersby were being energetically supported by Lech’s cheerleaders whilst the staff covered them with the so-called 'Holi powder' in blue and white colors which was distributed using small arsenals. Numerous runners decided to make their day more colorful by passing through the blue-and-white zone.
Apart from Lech’s cheerleaders, the participants were also supported by Gzub and Ejber – the two club mascots – as well as numerous fans gathered around the zone. In total, about 10 thousand runners participated in the 21.0975 km event.
