In the Sunday clash with Raków Częstochowa (2:2), Adriel Ba Loua made his debut for Lech. He was the 100th foreigner to appear on the pitch wearing Lech’s shirt.
The 25-year-old is the first footballer from the Ivory Coast to play for Lech. As a result, the club from Poznań has been represented by players from 45 different countries, among them 11 African nations. Now that the Ivory Coast is also on the list, the country can compete with Nigeria and Zimbabwe that already have had three of their representatives wear Lech’s shirt.
Soon enough, the number of foreigners who have played for the team from Poznań will increase as Lech’s latest transfers Pedro Rebocho (Portugal) and Roko Baturina (Croatia) are currently awaiting their debut. Whenever Roko makes his first official appearance for Lech, Croatia will be the sole leader in the rank.
