Piast walczył do końca - Franciszek Smuda

- Wiem, że nikogo nie zadowala wymęczone 1:0. Nie wykorzystaliśmy kilku sytuacji sam na sam i to spowodowało, że w nasze poczynania wkradł się chaos. Dlatego do końca musieliśmy się męczyć. Zostawiliśmy dużo zdrowia w Austrii, ale nie chcemy się tym tłumaczyć. Takie mecze po spotkaniach pucharowych się niestety zdarząją. Piast okazał się trudnym przeciwnikiem. Walczyli do końca, bo mieli iskierkę nadzei na zmianę wyniku - mówił po meczu z Piastem trener Lecha, Franciszek Smuda.
