- To był dziwny mecz. Zdecydowaliśmy się zagrać bardziej defensywnie niż zazwyczaj w meczach u siebie, bo wiedzieliśmy, że Lech potrzebuje dziś zwycięstwa. W pierwszej połowie nie stworzyliśmy sobie zbyt wielu szans, ale kontrolowaliśmy spotkanie. Byłem przekonany, że w drugiej połowie Lech prędzej czy później nas zaatakuje i musieliśmy tylko wyczekać na ten moment by zaskoczyć rywala kontratakiem. Byliśmy bardzo cierpliwi i zostaliśmy za to nagrodzeni bramką. Rozegraliśmy świetny mecz i za tydzień możemy zapewnić sobie tytuł mistrzowski - powiedział po meczu z Lechem, trener Wisły Kraków Robert Maaskant.
